mermaids and pearl babies
Chalk eggs for footpath writing
Parents can buy their children 11 tokens for $10 to spend at stalls at the fair, our craft stall makes sure to include a Table of Children’s Delights, should they wish to spend some at the Sunshine Weavers stall. And the sun was out in full force on fair day…
I apologise that the blog has been quiet here for some time, It always seems to be the way when the year seems to rush on past the halfway point gathering momentum faster than realised. We have had a very small group, but have been continuing to craft a little sunshine for the school and the fair…
crocheting around darling little bottle vases
knitting little kittens
and letting our imagination loose on calico bags
We hope to be back up to speed and posting regularly again as the school fair looms ever closer. Please put the first Saturday in November on your calendar and start saving that loose change for a crafted treasure or two! We can’t wait to see you there !
We took our crafting down to Momo’s café today, and had a lovely break catching up over coffee and commenting over fair successes and improvements for next year. Don’t forget to submit your comments by the end of today, we have had some great feedback and ideas already.
some fleecy and origami flowers selling fast at the fair
We also managed to make some fleecy flowers (they look a little like fairy floss – good enough to eat!) whilst we were chatting. Some other café customers were even so taken with them they bought some to take home 🙂 It feels great to spread a little crafty sunshine in the world.
Our next craft day will be on Thursday Nov 14th from 11am til 1pm at the school craft room. We are moving back in! Come and have a stickybeak and join the fun.
Check back tomorrow for the winning commenters
After a few enquiries I have decided to offer up 3 chances in our giveaway.

One for readers of this blog who leave a comment but could not (usually for obvious geographical reasons) join us, we are so grateful for your encouragement and advice.
One for Linuwel fair goers who visited us on the day – we would love to know what you thought!
And one for helpers, crafters and supporters – how can we ever thank you enough 🙂

One last day to leave a comment
A HUGE thankyou to all the contributors who made our craft stall such a wonderful success this year. Especially to all the people who dropped in crafts they have been working away on at home, and all the extra helpers to man the stall.
Everyone involved is welcome to come down to Momo’s café at 11am this Tuesday and we will buy you a coffee (or drink of your choice!) as a small token of our gratitude.
We would also love your feedback, comments and suggestions to help us plan for next year… there will be a suggestions book on Tuesday, or post your comments here (click on comments at the bottom of the post) and I will collate them.
All comments received will go in the draw for a small gift to be announced here on Wednesday 6th.
Good luck, Blessings and Thanks,
Diana and the team at Sunshine Weavers.
There is only one last crafting group until the fair. Thankyou to all our long standing crafters, last minute crafters, craft at home crafters, and patient families. Time for one last round up of crafts at Diana’s house on Thursday from 11.15 until pickup time. Help on Friday morning to pack up and price and label the crafts, and help setting up at school in the afternoon for the fair on Saturday would be greatly appreciated.
crafts are ready….
A huge heartfelt thank you to all who helped make the fair today a wonderful success.
Many blessings to you all.
