Fleecy Clean

What a great day to wash a fleece, in the last days of summer/ first days of autumn.  I think it hit 34 C, and our soft soggy fleece will be dry in no time…  Almost blinding in the afternoon sun..

We also turned our hand to some wet and dry felting… ( and finished a few more guinea pigs)… Thanks everyone for a colourful day full of sunshine.

Autumn Harvest

What do you have lingering in your Autumn veggie patch?  Pumpkin and sunflowers are ready in ours.

It was a lovely day stitching up a few odds and ends of unfinished projects, and swapping a few items of Autumn harvest abundance as the April rain fell softly on the school and surrounds.

We are meeting up at Amelia’s house next to the school for a little while as we settle back into a different crafting rhythm.  Thankyou to all our well wishers for your love and blessings sent after the school fire.   We are mostly back to a kind of normal, while we wait for the clean up and re-building to begin.

We do hope you drop by and enjoy a cuppa with us as we stitch a little sunshine before the holidays. Feel free to bring some home grown harvest or idea inspiration to swap.  Stash busting, WIPs* and UFO’s** welcome.

Easter in Autumn

We have been busy crafting things that would look right at home on an autumn nature table.

With Easter fast approaching, they would even add nicely to a seasonal Easter display.  In the next few weeks I’m sure a few more chicks and bunnies, or even a hare may make an appearance at our crafting tables!

Feel free to join us on Thursdays in the Linuwel school craft rooms from 11.00 til 1.00 to help weave a little sunshine in your life or make something magical for a special someone!
