Easter treasures
Are you hunting for some non-chocolate goodies for the holidays? Come into the school front office and see what treasures are on offer from the parent craft group. We have lovely felted eggs, rainbow ribbon streamers perfect for dancing through the garden, and chalk eggs to brighten a footpath or two…
What a great day to wash a fleece, in the last days of summer/ first days of autumn. I think it hit 34 C, and our soft soggy fleece will be dry in no time… Almost blinding in the afternoon sun..
We also turned our hand to some wet and dry felting… ( and finished a few more guinea pigs)… Thanks everyone for a colourful day full of sunshine.
Wonderful wool and fabulous felting
This Thursday 19th March we will be playing with wonderful wool as we wet felt, needle felt, wash and card some lovely floaty fleece to make all manner of things. Feel free to join us for some or part of the day at Amelia’s house in Jenna drive, just across from school.
This little piggie went to market…
Mega Craft Day
We are back and crafting! The first craft day will be a mega craft day all day (school hours) just across from the school at Amelia’s house in Jenna Drive on Thursday 19th February.
We will be organising dates, days and crafts for the year as well as sharing great company, food and of course crafting some easy starter projects to ease us back into the swing of things.
We would love any interested parents, friends or grandparents to drop by and join us anytime during school hours, for some or all of the day. No need to bring any craft supplies, but a plate of food to share would be appreciated.
Please RSVP by SMS to Amelia on 0403 280 726 or email Diana at dthorvaldson@hotmail.com
Even if you can’t make it, please message us if you are interested in joining in another time, what crafts you would be interested in, what days and times work best for you, if you would like to be on the mailing and notification list, or any other thoughts or ideas you may have.
Happy New Year and Happy crafting!

Linuwel School Fair 2014
Parents can buy their children 11 tokens for $10 to spend at stalls at the fair, our craft stall makes sure to include a Table of Children’s Delights, should they wish to spend some at the Sunshine Weavers stall. And the sun was out in full force on fair day…
Catching up
I apologise that the blog has been quiet here for some time, It always seems to be the way when the year seems to rush on past the halfway point gathering momentum faster than realised. We have had a very small group, but have been continuing to craft a little sunshine for the school and the fair…
We hope to be back up to speed and posting regularly again as the school fair looms ever closer. Please put the first Saturday in November on your calendar and start saving that loose change for a crafted treasure or two! We can’t wait to see you there !

…and then there were five!
Our biggest craft group this year!! Thankyou to all the lovely ladies who came to support us and the school as we craft a little sunshine in our lives.
Playcloths and cloaks have been gifted to preschool, and Mother Earth was finished for the kindergarten seasonal table. King Winter is running late though… maybe he will be finished next time 🙂
Happy crafting till then
